Maintenance/Servicing
We here at Airduct Hygenics offer a unique maintenance and service facility to clients. With our back Ground and years of experience in the industry there is very little problem we will not have encountered. With the current economic climate many of our clients will seek advice on their existing ventilation system and also request modification to the system to improve their system’s performance and costs. We will inspect and maintain all aspects of the ventilation system. Below are just some of the common items we maintain on a day to day basis:
- Fans
- Fan Speed Controllers
- Grilles and diffusers
- DW 144 duct work
- External Weather Louvers
- Silencers
- Filters
- Fly screens
- Volume Control Dampers
- Fire Dampers
- Access doors and panels
- Stainless steel canopies
- Air handling unit components (control panels, belts, pulleys etc…)
- Fire rated duct work
- Foil back insulation to duct work
- External cladding of exposed duct work
- Weathering aprons
- Bracketing systems
- Flexible connections
The above are only some of the items we will regularly maintain and replace.
Maintenance saves the client Money:
In most cases replacement of components will be associated with one factor, Neglect. This neglect will cause the standard fan to accumulate grease and dirt and also restrict the amount of air being extracted or supplied, thus affecting the area ventilated. A fan may be struggling and it will be turned up to extract more air, consuming more electricity and running costs. Once the grease builds up too much the fan will cease to operate and require replacement. It is also worth noting that productivity levels will decrease whilst the running cost of the fan will increase.
This is one example of why it is essential to carry out regular maintenance.
